Watch Jennifer's Body

In Devil's Kettle, Minnesota where the movie Jennifer's Body takes place, and sets its focus on to girls who just happen to be the best of friends. Plain Jane Anita Lesinky happens to be one of them while Jennifer Check her best friend is a popular cheerleader. One evening Jennifer asks Anita to go with her to a local bar where an Indie Rock band called Low Shoulder is playing. While the band was playing the bar suddenly catches on fire and both Jennifer and Anita barely escape a fiery death. While outside the band approaches both Jennifer and Anita making sure they're okay. Anita watches as her best friend hops into a van with complete strangers and drives away as the rest of the bar collapses in flames.

Anita returns home to a note from her mother who works late evenings. She calls up her boyfriend Chip to explain to him what had happened and how worried she was about her friend. Jennifer arrives at her house bloody with torn clothing and Anita watches as she rips into some raw chicken and gives her a chilling roar only to then spew a black liquid all over the place. Jennifer then throws her against the wall asking if she was scared of her and then takes off out the front door.

Later on, Anita finds Jennifer sleeping in her bed one night. Jennifer begins to kiss her turning into a make out session which Anita snaps out of ordering Jennifer to leave. Jennifer begins to explain what had happened the night the bar caught fire. The band Low Shoulder had taken her out deep in the woods and performed a satanic ritual with her as the sacrifice in exchange for their fame and fortune. They stabbed her with a knife and threw it down into a pool of water. She found herself a live and walked herself to Anita's house. She then further explains that when she eats and is fully replenished by human flesh that she is virtually indestructible. She proves this to Anita by stabbing herself in the arm with a pocket knife and stuns Anita as her flesh regenerates and heals.

Anita had threatened to call the cops in which Jennifer retorted that no one would believe such a story and that she would deny everything. At the Spring Formal Anita finds that Jennifer had killed her boyfriend Chip. Driven by revenge for the death of her boyfriend Anita goes to Jennifer's house and kills her with a knife. After being bitten and scratched by Jennifer some of her demonic powers where transferred to her. She is sent to prison where she escapes. She goes to where Jennifer had been used as a satanic sacrifice and retrieves the knife to flag down Low Shoulder and murder them in revenge for her friend.
